I read the transcript before listening to your recording and I loved the quotes around "people," "lives," "share," and "recommendations." Killing me! Obviously it seems like a living hell to be them. Or am I just saying this as a charm against envy? The question is: Is the money worth it, when you have to constantly be producing a "firehose-level" stream of selfies, making your spouse/prop hate you, etc.? If yes, it seems like the way to do it is to get to your target amount of filthy lucre then abruptly close your account and disappear.
How dreary – to be – Somebody!
How public – like a Frog –
To tell one's name – the livelong June –
To an admiring Bog! (E. Dickinson)
