Thank you for sharing that. It is truly enraging.

I too am a godless baby killer, impregnated at 15 when I lost my virginity to a 29 year old man. Although he ridiculously proposed marriage , I can’t begin to imagine the shambles my life would be if I had not had access to an abortion.

However, my abortion was NOT simple or legal. That was still a couple of years away.

This had to qualify as a “therapeutic procedure “ with a rather shady Dr. , and to do that, I was instructed to meet and lie to a psychiatrist referred by the gynocologist- telling him I was a drug addict ,and covertly hand him an envelope of cash provided by my mother. My drug addict performance was unimportant and wholly unbelievable. The scumbags just wanted the envelope.

In turn, I was given clearance for a therapeutic abortion as I was an “unfit mother”. That part was true, I was 15 and in junior high school.

Obviously, I can now never run for President…

The whole procedure was expensive and rather traumatic.

I am acutely aware that it was only my access to funds, an understanding parent and privilege that afforded me a life I can now call rewarding and full.

For that reason, my family has made charitable donations to Planned Parenthood for many years so that people of all means have a choice and control over their health.

I will continue pay it forward in every way I can and fight tooth and nail to overthrow these fascists.

Because as a godless baby killer, there is nothing beyond me ….We all need to rally together and not be defeated.

Thank you as always Cintra for your inspiration and wisdom. 🖤

Overturning Roe is a terrible decision for a multitude of reasons. Infringing upon women’s rights is the most obvious, but there’s another consequence that should make even the staunchest anti-abortion enthusiast think twice.

In the 1990s, after four decades of steadily rising rates of violent crime, the US unexpectedly experienced a sudden sharp decline. Many attributed the drop to tough-on-crime policies; Nosferatu himself (Rudy Giuliani), the newly-elected mayor of NYC, took credit for as much as he could, but the decline had started during his predecessor’s administration. Others speculated it was due to gun control, while there were those who believed it was the result of the economic boom. But according to the authors of the best-selling book Freakonomics, the biggest factor was the establishment of the constitutional right to abortion. They posited that by the 1990s the nation had been spared an entire generation of unwanted children, a demographic responsible for an inordinate amount of violent crime. No one is talking about that in light of last week’s ruling, but forced pregnancies could have more disastrous consequences than meets the eye. That seems ominous.

Tonight I’m gnashing my teeth over this dysfunctional Supreme Court: Kavanaugh, that entitled, sanctimonious prick; Gorsuch, whose mom utterly neglected the federal agency she was appointed to oversee, and Thomas, the biggest Oreo in America and a hall of fame creep, whose biggest cultural contribution was introducing the nation to Long Dong Silver.

Abortion IMHO should not be allowed after 2nd Trimester. I state this after holding my fully formed stillborn son at 26 weeks. In Europe, most countries do not allow abortion after 18 weeks, some less. Prior to Roe being overturned, USA woman could abort up until day of birth. Maybe if it wasn’t for this ‘all or nothing approach’, Roe might still be in place, Federally. Yeah, 3rd Trimester abortions are rare, it’s around 10K to 15K per year that occur. A little sanity to abortion allowance now will be decided by States.
